I hate the Devil.

I hate that bastard like you wouldn't believe.

But I couldn't exist without him.

The Devil makes bad people suffer; it's what he does and he loves it. I'm all for having everyone - even the Devil - do what he loves.

I imagine one day being in heaven and having dinner each night.

God will be at the head of the table. Of Course.

But there will also be a setting for the Devil himself every night.

God has too much hospitality and the Devil is too necessary for it to be any other way.

There is a fact that every person who ever lived and ever will live is painfully aware of and has the hardest time in the world understanding.

There will always be a place for the Devil at God's dinner table.

Actually, the Devil isn't as bad as you think. He helps a lot of people become rich.

Christoph Willibald Ritter von Gluck (1714-1787) was extremely popular and widely credited with bringing about a revolution in French opera. I suppose he was aware of the existence of the planet Mercury, it is one of the oldest known planets having appeared in ancient Babylonian cuneiforms, but I doubt he could have guessed that a crater would be named in his honor or that Ruben Glueck would care 250 years later.

Take a look at artist: Mervin Shannon's work. I think you will agree he is a man to pay attention to.

This is not your grandparents' Haggadah of Pesach!

In mathematics, we can prove things, and if the proof is correct it is just as true as the assumptions.

In life there is a notion of "proof" connected with things that cannot be proven one way or the other. Here are some examples:

  • Prove your wife is cheating on you

  • Prove OJ is guilty

  • Prove people are out to get you

  • Prove a friend is lying about something subjective

This does not stop people from trying and though they think they've successfully proven it, other people's minds will never change and liars will stick to their story.

Usually, a person makes up his mind about what he wants to believe and then goes and "proves" it.

The questions people pose in politics usually are too subjective to prove.

Many questions (like the OJ trial) have a definite answer and all attempts at proof are futile one way or the other.

In many ways, I am really a child at heart and will never grow up. I love superheroes and comic books
